It is Better to Prepare than Repair

Planning for the safety of pets is critical both to their welfare, and the stress/psychological welfare of the family during times of crisis. It is particularly significant when children see the plan and believe it to be true.

Not doing so can have critical repercussions.

About Madeline Bernstein

Madeline Bernstein is the President of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA). A frequent speaker and commentator on issues relating to animal welfare, ethics and law enforcement, she advocates for the humane treatment of and respect for animals. Bernstein currently serves as an advisory committee member of the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys Animal Cruelty Division; and a member of the California State Fish and Game Advisory Committee, among others. In 2012, Bernstein was the first Distinguished Visiting Animal Advocate for The Center for Animal Law Studies at Lewis & Clark where she returned as a visiting professor. Also in 2012, she was the recipient of the Boeing Crystal Vision Award. Bernstein is the author of the 2018 book, Designer Dogs, an Expose (Apollo Publishers).
